I absolutely loved working with Shelley, from my first correspondence and phone call with her to our first in person meeting she made me feel comfortable and like a partner during the entire process. Her photography is gorgeous and I was very happy that she had shot at my venue before and was comfortable with the space and looks. I was slightly worried about how she would get on with my fiance (who is weird about taking pictures) but she immediately got his random movie references and I knew it was a photographer match made in heaven! Shelley was very flexible to work with, helping me come up with a package that included everything I was looking for. She was readily available and quick to respond when I had questions about planning and the wedding timeline. Shelley has been our wedding photographer for about a year and a half due to the pandemic and having to postpone our original wedding. She has shot 2 different engagement photo shoots for us along with FINALLY shooting our small, intimate wedding ceremony and reception a few weeks ago! Shelley is an incredible artist and a joy to work with! I am typically very awkward in front of a camera and I was nervous that I would be constantly aware that I had a lens on me but Shelley made me feel so comfortable - it was even fun! She has a gift for capturing a moment without making you aware that you're being photographed.
She got along so well with everyone at the wedding and was amazing with the little kids. Shelley was the photographer for our recent wedding, and my wife and I couldn't have been happier. We initially met when she shot the elopement of a mutual friend and we could tell right away she was our first choice. Luckily she had availability and incredibly reasonable rates. On the big day she was awesome, getting shots during the ceremony and throughout the reception like a ninja, never in the way, just a textbook wedding photographer. Later in the evening she started having some fun setting up some artsy shots of my wife and I that came out great, battling spiders the whole way.
